"Love Was Born" CD Release Christmas Concert

Rochester, N.Y. - The Bill Welch Band, a Rochester-based original music group, presents a celebration of their Christmas CD release "Love Was Born" in a concert at Hochstein Music School, Friday, December 5, 2003. Percussions Ah Saleem, directed by Khalid Saleem, will open the show.

$12.00 General Admission, $8.00 groups of 6 or more, $6.00 Youth ages 12 & under. Other Information:
As with every Bill Welch Band concert, a portion of the proceeds will benefit a charitable cause. The beneficiary of this event will be the Golisano Children’s Hospital. The concert is sponsored in part by Language Intelligence, Ltd.

The Bill Welch Band's focus is original music, composed by the group's leader, Bill Welch. The music has a soulful and inspirational message and is accented by jazz, gospel and Latin sounds.
