Rochester, New York's Bill Welch Band, donated over $1500 to local Rochester humanitarian efforts today. Project H.O.P.E (Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa) and the Pueto Rican Youth Development and Resource Center were beneficiaries of the band's 7th man policy, a musical tithing which contributes one seventh of profits from CD sales to charity.
Project H.O.P.E (Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa) is an outreach program based in Rochester, NY that aids the economic development of Borge, Haiti. The Pueto Rican Youth Development and Resource Center focuses on services to Rochester Latino Youth.
