Bill Welch Band awarded 2nd place in the Bob Schwarz Memorial Songwriter's ContestJune 9th, 2002 Rochester, New York - The Bill Welch Band was awarded 2nd place at the Bob Schwarz Memorial Songwriter's Contest for 'Be Never Lonely'. Selected from over 100 entries, ten semi-finalists presented a diverse array of original song and music at Milestone's. The afternoon was filled with folk, rock, and solo,duo styles that connected musicians and writers alike. Patty Schwarz, along with the Dady Brothers and friends, presented awards and song in memory of husband Bob who was an avid musician and songwriter. |
